Castro , along with gallery artists: Mark Strodl, Holly Gordon, Bernard Beckford, Lisa Petker-Mintz, Zeb Mayer, Louis Carvell, Dasha Basanova, William Levenberg, Jesse Valentin, Elise Drake, Keith Beers, Carole Amodeo, S. Peter Turner, Neil Leinwohl, and Lori Horowitz

“Skin Deep” Revealing new art work
….At Studio 5404 Art Space
EMERGING LOCAL AND NEW YORK ARTISTS
Opening Reception Saturday, January 31st, 5:00-8:00 pm
through March 2nd 2015
Featuring new works by 14 emerging and up-and-coming local and New York artists.
“Skin Deep ” is an introspective show commenting on perceptions of the body, skin, and superficiality.
Gallery artists, include: Barbara Rocco, Bill Shillalies, , Scott Grimando, Robyn Bellospirito,
Con Artist, Amanda Scotto, Juan Lopez Espantaleon, Candice Licalzi, Julie Gordonson, Tracy Phillips, Kathryn Ko, Natalie Tummolo, Nikki Horowitz. and Lori Horowitz.
Music will be performed by original songwriters Jahni Rae & Robbie Bang, and Holly Sterling
Live body painting and body art will be created and displayed.
Refreshments will be served.

Opening Reception Friday December 12th, 7:00-10:00pm
The show, which runs through January 9th, 2014, and will feature new works by emerging and up-and-coming local and New York artists. Neil Leinwohl, Lisa Petker Mintz, Mac Titmus, Yvonne Dagger, Holly Gordon, Carleton Palmer, Carolyn Dodd, Michael Krasowitz, Ed Cascone, Laura Cerrano and Hiromitsu Kurro.
“The Affordable Art Show ” is a sampling of dynamic and compelling artworks at a price point of under $1000. During the opening reception, original acoustic music by Bryan Gallo and musical poetry will be performed by Scott Grimando and Scott Goodman of the “New Metaphysical Poets”. Refreshments will be served. Suggested donation $10.00; Proceeds will go toward raising awareness and strengthening the arts in the community by creating a thriving cultural inter- arts center.











EMERGING LOCAL AND NEW YORK ARTISTS
Opening Reception
Saturday, October 18th, 4:00-7:30pm
Studio 5404 Art Space will host an opening reception for the art show “Taking it to the Street” The show, which runs through November 24th, 2014, will feature new works by emerging and up-and-coming local and New York artists. Presenting Long Island’s new Outdoor Art Wall graffiti artist by Sonic Bad, Panic Rodriguez, Crazy Eddie, and Mat Hatter along with gallery artists, Holly Gordon, Elyse Drake, Jill Rader-Levine, Mark Rooney, Rene Frassola, Villalobos and Toni Silber- Delerive. , “Taking it to the Street” is a vibrant celebration of our urban surroundings.
Original music will be performed by songwriters , “Kb Jones Contraband” and “A Side of Darkness”. Poetry readings by Waifette and Adam Brier. There will be an outdoor Artisan Market with local Long Island goods. Refreshments will be served.

Exhibits/Events: "Making Waves" Show extended now running thru July 18th.
Spring into summer on June 13th for a fabulous night of water imagery by 7 talented artists. An eclectic mix of drawings, paintings and sculpture. Original acoustic jazz folk fusion by Sam and Zoe. Enjoy wine tasting supplied by Vine Wine Cellar and Bar of Massapequa/ Merrick. Refreshments.
The gallery is open daily Monday - Friday and by appointment on Saturday, but please give a call first just to check our fluxuating summer hours.
